There may be occasions where you wish to use your own installation team and maybe even purchase your own equipment, but you do not have the experience or industry knowledge to properly risk assess and plan your system.

UK Watch Technologies offers a complete consultancy service where designs can be checked, verified and if necessary legally signed off as being compliant with the relevant British Standards.

We offer consultancy services for the following disciplines:-

• Intruder Alarm design

• Fire alarm design

• CCTV System design

• Access Control System design

• Tannoy System design

• Gate & Barrier system design

We will ensure that all relevant legal and safety issues are compliant, provide a parts list if needed and will produce technical fitting drawings as required.

Costs for consultancy are identical to installation costs and are charged per day.

Final Sign Off

Some systems require either legal or insurance approved “sign offs” once completed with only relevantly qualified persons being authorised to sign off those completed installations. We offer a full commissioning and  sign off service where a fully qualified engineer will inspect and technically sign off your system once it is installed to the correct standards. If required we can, at no extra initial fee, adopt any servicing measures that may be legally required or required by your insurance company following the satisfactory sign off of the system. The commissioning check itself replaces our normal “Take Over” checks and charges.
