Many of our clients have been take overs from large National or International companies, the most shocking of which achieved a reduction in yearly monitoring and servicing costs from £1900.00 plus VAT with a major national installer to £190.00 per year with UK Watch Technologies. We have discovered that many of these sites do not match the specification that was given or that on some sites claimed capabilities simply do not work.
This is obviously a bold statement but one that we can easily defend with repeatable evidence from recent clients.
It is unfortunate that some of these large companies also install and operate "code of the day" systems that means that the alarm panels that have been installed can never be maintained by a third party or at a third party cost and the choice of the maintainer has been removed from the client, something that we morally disagree with.
We make sure that the "engineering codes" are unique to the client and that no systems are ever in a state that the client does not have complete control over them.
